The Cows are back!!

We posted last week that the cows are back. There are a few of our guests who are huge fans of the cows. We just thought you may like to see a few pics! :)

Updating our WiFi!

You have spoken, and we have listened. We are upgrading our Wi-Fi, and wanted you to be the first to know! We will soon be upgrading all of our Wi-Fi towers with marine antennas as well as switching to a new provider. What does this mean for you? When we are finished, our bandwith 3x stronger!!! We will keep you updated with photos and news as we progress.

Pioneer Beach Rv Resort Golf Cart Policy

Unfortunately, we can not always report the more exciting, fun side of paradise. It has come to our attention that there may be a bit of confusion as to what types of Golf carts are actually allowed in the park. We hope to clear this up by simply stating that only regulation golf carts are allowed.

No ATVs, UTVs, Dirt Bikes, 3 or 4 wheel All-Terrain, or similar sport vehicles are allowed in the park.

The following is a copy of our Motorized vehicle regulations that EVERY guest receives when they check in.

MOTORIZED VEHICLES

1. No 4-wheel or 3-wheel all terrain vehicles, dirt bikes, UTVs or similar vehicles are allowed in the park.
2. The use of golf carts is limited to persons 16 years or older only with valid licenses, unless accompanied by a parent or other individual over 21 years of age. In the front seat.
3. No golf carts will be allowed to be driven in the park after 10PM unless an adult, (18 years old), is driving the cart.
4. No golf carts will be allowed to be driven in the park after 11PM regardless of the age of the driver, unless they are traveling only to and from the beach, pool, bathhouses, or other residents’ lot.
5. All golf carts must have a park sticker affixed. These may be secured from the office for $25 fee.
6. No rental golf carts of any size are allowed in the park, or to come across the boardwalk.
7. The use of motorized scooters is limited to those persons 14 years or older, and the vehicles must also have a park sticker affixed.
8. Small electric scooters may be operated by children over 8 years of age at their sites only and may not be driven throughout the park.
9. No scooters or skateboards will be allowed to be used in the park after Dusk.
10. No bicycles without light are allowed to be ridden after Dusk.
11. No vehicles may be operated after dark without proper lights.
12. The resort speed limit is 5mph and must be observed by ALL VEHICLES, including carts and scooters.
13. NO PERSON UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS IS ALLOWED TO DRIVE ANY VEHICLE IN THE PARK. THOSE FOUND DOING SO WILL BE REFERRED TO THE LOCAL POLICE AUTHORITIES.

VIOLATIONS OF THESE RULES CAN RESULT IN TERMINATION OF STAY.

Those persons who violate these rules, (with the exception of rule 13), will be given 1, (one), warning by our staff or security personnel. If the second violation is noted the person who owns the golf cart, scooter, bicycle, or skateboard in question will be required to remove them from the park.

Anyone whose vehicle causes any damage to park property will be charged a minimum fee of $250 for repairs and must remove the vehicle causing the damage from the park immediately.

It is regretful that it has become necessary to implement these new rules; however, we feel that we have no choice in order to protect the safety of our park visitors.

We do not want to completely outlaw the use of golf carts, scooters or skateboards, but should the irresponsibility continue, this will be the next step.
