We've just received this message from our friend Karen Childs, who asked that we pass it along to all of you:
Jack & Betty Moorman (Pioneer Winter Friends) were on their way to a NewMar International Rally in Elkhart, Indiana from August 12th - August 22nd. They stopped to have lunch and found their motorhome and van were on fire. They got out right away and are safe and unhurt. They will work the Rally and wait until next Wednesday for Insurance people to arrive. They had nothing with them except the clothes on their backs. They hope to return to the park this fall on time. We look forward to their safe return to Pioneer Beach Resort this winter!
